Well, I’ve got the iPhone app and the Pilates class, but I really have no idea how hard I’m actually working. At least, I didn’t until I got the Polar FT7 Heart Rate monitor for my birthday (yes, it sucks having a birthday this close to Christmas, btw). It really has too many features to list, but my favorite by far is the EnergyPointer. It tells you whether you’re actually burning fat during your workout and whether you’re actually improving your fitness. Turns out moving up to the next size exercise ball was worth it!
